Massage One Spa

DON'T GO HERE! I bought a couples massage for my wife and I through Groupon, and it was a joke. They don't take reservations beyond two days out so it was very hard to plan ahead. When we finally got there, the person at the front desk (does not deserve to be called a lady) was super rude. No greeting whatsoever.. just asked for my number and grabbed my phone to see the Groupon. When we went into our room, our therapists were talking a bunch to each other, and the front desk was yelling to one of them from the lobby. How is this relaxing? Then I found out after we got home that the female massage therapist working on my wife was inappropriate, exposing her private parts and making her feel very uncomfortable. When I came to review I was so shocked to see so many negative ones- the staff was very respectful and attentive. I checked in via phone number at the front desk & was able to pay my tip over card to which she handed us cash to know our therapist were being taken care of. Every aspect of this couples massage exceeded my expectations and I will be recommending this place to everyone!

They basically haggle a larger tip out of you when trying to leave. We booked a couple's massage. The massagers were constantly talking to each other, phones ringing, front desk screaming at them, stepping out every 20 minutes. At the beginning we called to set up an appointment but when we showed up they said our phone number was not associated with an appointment. Turns out they made a mistake. Then they shame you for not leavibg a large tip when leaving, basically announcing it to the entire lobby.

I had purchased a couples Groupon for this place. Had called to reserve, and unfortunately could only give notice of cancellation 15 minutes before the appointment time. The man who answered was very verbally upset with me, making sure I knew how wrong I was for canceling, almost shunning me for my choice. You never know WHY someone has to cancel, it can be a very personal and upsetting reason. Not every day goes in our favor, and of course we were upset to cancel last minute too. The man was very rude, so I decided to refund my Groupon entirely. I’m glad not to give them service, no customer should be spoken to that way.

I was really disappointed with the front desk experience. The lady receptionist was noticeably unfriendly, which made the check-in process uncomfortable The worst part was that she actually interrupted our massage session to accuse one of us of not paying in the middle of our session, the way it was handled was completely unprofessional and ruined the experience. The massage therapists themselves were great, but front desk staff are the first and last people you interact with and this one made us feel disrespected and embarrassed. I hope management addresses this so future customers don’t go through the same thing.
