Mathilda Hair Braiding salon

If I could give 0 stars I would. These photos are from a day after my appointment. I had my hair done for 1 weeks and they were already falling out. These women braided my hair way too small. The parting was terrible. They added so much braiding hair to tiny pieces of my real hair. I was afraid to move my head for fear of ripping out my edges. They had 3 girls working on my hair at once and it shows. I wanted small knotless and that’s not at all what I got. It looks like I let my little cousins play in my hair for fun! Like each girl was doing her own style/technique of braids. The sizes were inconsistent, they left out no edges, AND told me it would take 3hrs and it took 5!! How you got 3 women on 1 head and they still took 5 hours!? I had to have another braider come to my home and re-do

Matilda is very ignorant and gets disrespectful when you tell her you dont like how she doing your hair. I showed her a picture of how I wanted my braids to look and she still did it how she wanted I stopped her immediately it took for me to come out of character for her to call someone else to braid my hair. I wouldn’t recommend this place to nobody not even a wig head smh. Here’s a picture of Matilda job on my hair. We even started arguing cause how rude she is, I asked her a number of times to stop arguing at me before I snapped out. JUST DONT GO HERE THEY CNT DO HAIR.

My daughter came in by 2 & was out by 6 $$$ and it came out really cute. I think I might get some individuals soon

Called at 330 today and Mathilda had an opening, always so nice and work is awesome! I’ll be back again. She was easy on my edges, well what’s left of them.

My friend referred me to Matildas after I asked where she got her individuals because they looked great. I called and asked if they did Senegalese twists and Matilda said yes, she even asked if I could make it in same day. I asked her questions about pricing and hair types, etc and ended up booking a few days out. When i got there they were on time and very informational about pricing and options regarding the twists. With that being said it took about 5 hours or so to complete my whole head with my twists ending at my waist. Matilda started my twists and Aisha finished the rest of the job and let me tell you, it was amazing! Aisha not only worked the whole time but answered any questions I had along the way and even laid some of my baby hairs! The salon is clean and the vibe is great. It
