Honesty if I could give no stars I would.. I’m very disappointed with the results from my visit to this salon. For context made an appointment at Mathis salon for a color correction consultation after black box dye. I informed the owner, Amanda, that it had been a year since my last use and showed her the inspiration pictures for what my long term goal look was. She said it was no problem and quoted me over $500 which, at the time, I thought was reasonable considering the job. Little did I know that my hair was about to be completely butchered. My hair ended up with 3 different colors after the first visit.. yellow at the top and orange in the middle mixed with black splotches. I love the hospitality at this place, the atmosphere is so welcoming. They offer so many services, I think it’s worth the money. Both times I’ve gone i had a great experience.

I went in for partial highlights i was quoted 150$ dollars at check out time it was 250$. And not just that she told she would be able to get me like that photo because I had an important even the following day. My hair was ginger and uneven honestly someone who does hair in that way shouldn't have their license. When i asked her why my hair was so ginger she said "oh it's just the lighting". Prior to the appointment she asked me everything about my hair which i was 100% honest about then she proceeded to tell me to my face that she can achieve th golden brown highlights TODAY.....

I loved my first experience at the salon. My hair was cut and styled by Amanda, the owner and she was great. I will definitely go to her again I left with exactly what I wanted. I was also a last minute add on to her schedule and I never felt rushed or like I was a burden. Thank you!
