Matisse is amazing! The staff is friendly, professional, and always makes you feel welcome. They’re great about getting me in within a week (sometimes less!) and consistently do an incredible job with my hair. I’ve been coming here for years after trying several other salons, and nothing compares. If you want a well-priced, high-quality haircut/color surrounded by a fun, super supportive “girl squad” energy—this is the place!

Went in to refresh my highlights and get a new style for the holidays and was very pleased with the result! Samira was excellent! She listened to what I wanted and made suggestions based on her expert opinion. She made regular check-ins to confirm we were heading in the right direction and continued tweaking her work until it was perfect. The facility was clean, staff friendly, and pricing competitive with other nice salons in the area. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

Farah was great, really listened to what I wanted and used her professional experience to fill in the gaps. I'm thrilled with my cut and color! Edit: a year later, I am terrible at getting back to the salon regularly, but my cut always grows out beautifully even when I wait too long. Farah always is up for whatever I want and isn't afraid to change it up. She is great at achieving a look from a photo reference, and I always get a ton of compliments on my hair.

I have been a customer of Matisse Salon and Spa and specifically the owner Farah for several years, and I always leave my appointments feeling so happy with my look and appreciative of Farah and her staff’s talent and supportiveness. I originally found Matisse because I was diagnosed with an auto immune that causes hair loss and extreme scalp sensitivity and I was looking for a salon that carried more natural products. Farah carries several hair color lines known to be more gentle and with less strong chemical ingredients, and I really feel that Farah listens to my concerns due to my condition and always manages to make my hair look great-which is something I really need as I struggle with my ongoing hair loss. I called this morning to see if these ladies could squeeze me in. They were wonderfully accommodating and provided me with a wonderful hair cut. I explained, to Farah, that I had a nightmarish experience a few years ago with another local salon and that I had been getting my haircut, via a friend of mine, in Arizona ever since! But this time, I didn’t have time to make it out there for my hair cut. She was so friendly and empathetic to my fears and showed me exactly what she was going to do. This was the best haircut I have had in a very long time. I will continue to come see Farah.
