I had an amazing haircut today by Kako. It was a trim but also corrective bc there was some unevenness from my last cut at another salon. Kako was super sweet and easy to talk to. She took her time and was very detailed and precise. She was also so gentle with my fragile hair while blow drying. Will definitely be back!

Takako is truly the best hair designer I’ve ever met. She knew exactly what I wanted and made me feel so comfortable throughout the entire process. I love how I look after her care, I will def come back for her❤️

I recently moved from Sweden to NYC and have been searching for a great salon — and I’m so glad I found Matono. I did a balayage and a haircut with layers, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, from the girl who helped me book to the two stylists who worked on my hair. I’m absolutely thrilled with how it turned out. A+ and highly recommend!

I knew after reading the reviews for Kako that she was the person to get my haircut with. I trust very few people with my hair but she truly gave my haircut the perfect refresh with layers and she has such a positive and beautiful charm to her personality.
