Max Men's Hairstyling

Max is far and away the best barber in DC, likely anywhere. He was classically trained in Paris, and is the best if you want to look like a clean, professional man. I have been going to him for 15 years. He is a professional and takes great pride in his work. Never flakes or cancels. Do yourself a favor and go see him.

I've been going to Max for a little more than two years--he gives me the best haircut I've ever had. Max understands the natural tendencies of each kind of hair (mine is fine), and he does an amazing job cutting and styling it to play to the natural strengths. He gave me some pointers about how to style it, and I've been using those as well. Additionally, in this area of town, Max's cuts are a great value deal. You aren't going to find anyone who will give you the quality cut Max does, and you really aren't going to find a more economical cut either. You'll be lucky to get in to Max.

Max is amazing. I’m blessed with very thick hair that grows extremely fast, and I spent years trying to find someone who didn’t just attack my head with thinning shears that left an uneven mess. Max brings true skill and finesse to his haircuts, and his work is so consistently good that I have refused to see anyone else for several years. I look forward to our sessions because in addition to being a great stylist, Max is just a great guy to talk to. His prices are always fair, he’s super accommodating and always very professional. Would highly recommend calling to book ahead because he is deservedly very busy.
