There are two sections to this shop which makes it seem like two different businesses, I don't know why. There's the front shop and the back shop. I always go to the same lady, Karen, whose station is in the front shop part. She's nice and knows how to cut hair the way you tell her, especially if you bring a photo. She's good like that. It's $6.00 for men's haircuts and between $8.00-11.00 for women's. That's a great price for a great cut. It's a cash-only joint. The place is old and dinky, not some fancy Beverly Hills or trendy LA salon, sorry. But it gets the job done and pretty quickly too, even if there are several people waiting ahead of you. I like this place (or rather, I like Karen) a lot. I'll be a client as long as I'm in the area.

This place is a hole in the wall. The guy specializes in men's hair but doesn't seem to be a full barber. A full barbershop would clean up the hair lines with a straight razor. Maybe I didn't ask for that. He was quick, and cuts a bit on the short side. So I recommend telling him to not cut too short. Otherwise, you will get a military cut (high and tight).

Got a haircut. Cut the bangs way too short, asked for a fade, didn’t get it, asked for lays/texture, didn’t get it. $15 for that. If you don’t care about hair and just want a cut then come. If you want to look aesthetic, find somewhere else

Great place to get a fast, quality haircut on a budget. The wait time can get a bit long on weekends and holidays. I usually park in the back or find a Green curb along Orange St. Always remember to tip your barber!! They expect a good tip each time.

I requested thinning instead of a crew cut, and the barber lady, in order to cut the remaining four young men, gave me a crew cut very quickly and took the tip. Her technique was so rubbish, why would anyone get their hair cut here?
