Mccall African Hair Braiding

They have fallen off. Used to be a good place to get your braids done. Now they give you what they want to give you and charge what they want to charge. I went to get my hair braided today and asked for Knotless box braids ($180). The young lady couldn't do the knotless on my hair, which was fine, so she did the knotted braids which are cheaper ($120). I told her THREE times medium, she said ok. When she was done she said $180, I asked how could that be when I got the cheaper braids. She tells me it's the length (mind you it would have been the same length knotless). She then calls someone who CLAIMED to be the owner, like I would know that's true. She spoke to her first in her language so she could have been anyone. Also, they have a price list on the wall but they said it's old. FALSE AD

Called early, had them tell me to come at 3-4 showed up at 3:10 just for them to tell me they can’t do it today & they don’t know why anyone told me to come today, They didn’t greet me at all or tell me nobody can do my hair until I finally asked, they just kept having a conversation amongst themselves. All I was getting was a couple cornrows. 2 braiders were in the shop but only 1 was doing hair. She only had one section of braids left to do & they close at 7 yet nobody could do my hair, I even offered to stay & wait until she was done but Supposedly she had somewhere to go after. Very unprofessional in my opinion. I’ve been here once 2 years ago & that experience was great but I won’t be going back after today.

My daughter went here today to get two braids straight back. They didn’t do it like she wanted so she asked them to do it over. They did the exact same thing braids the two braids on top her head instead of the sides. Then one is a stitch braid and the other is not. The braids are skinny and flimsy and she was visibly upset she’s only 18. When she expressed her displeasure the second time the said oh, well. Do not go here! Very un professional!

Went to get my hair braided yesterday 7/12/15 to be exact and I absolutely love it. I cant remember the girls name who did my hair, but she did one hell of a job. It didn't hurt (maybe because i am not tender headed). I gave it only four stars because she did them smaller than i requested which they still look beautiful anyway and i had to buy my own hair, but other than that she did an awesome job!!!!! I would highly recommend this place.

I made a hair appointment five days before my appointment for 10 am. When I get here and my drive was long the place is packed and it was so unorganized. No one was clear who had appointment who did not. Don’t come here if you are driving far ! After waiting five hours I was finally able to get my hair done and the braid came out exactly how I wanted. So great job braiding but the wait was way too long for me especially since I made an appointment.
