DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU DO NOT WANT YOUR HAIR CHEMICALLY TREATED WITHOUT CONSENT!!!! I went here to get just a simple wash and blowout. A week later when I washed my air, I realized that they had snuck texturizer in my hair without telling me. The chemical smell when my hair was wet was incredibly strong, those who have smelled relaxer/texturizer before know what it smells like. I asked them to tell me what they used, and they lied and played dumb (obviously), saying "they would never do that" when its literally so obvious. My curls are DESTROYED. My hair is stringy, hard and so dry from the chemicals. one side is straighter than the other, so it didn't even process evenly, and the first few days after I washed my hair my hair was breaking off. My first haircut was already not what I wanted but I gave the same lady a second chance. Worst idea because she made it so much worse and gave me whole different haircut and cut off all my hair so it’ll be months before I recover. I literally cried leaving the salon.

They are definitely putting relaxer in the conditioner. I have random patches of straight hair mixed in with my curls now. Looks awful.

This is my favorite hair salon in New York. Nidia does a great job on my hair and they charge nice prices. She uses this ginger treatment for my hair and it feels great. Everyone there is nice and professional.

I went in for a simple haircut. The hairdresser washed my hair, but he did not bother to dry or brush through my hair before calling it done. My hair looked so messy, and I have never regretted about a haircut this much.
