Mi Nail Salon

I got a full gel-x set yesterday and it was evident that it was the first time the woman doing my nails had done a gel-x set because she was asking the two people next to her what to do. One gave her the small light used to cure individual nails after sticking them on - she had me cure them for her with the light while she held the nails on - no problem sure. However, each nail was applied with an excess of glue (see picture) and many of the nails were put on at an angle. One was quite bad and very sideways so I pointed it out. The response was that they would fix it when they shaped the nails. They did not fix it when they shaped it, instead just shaped around the original angle and when I pointed it out again they said it was the shape of my nail. It was not. She was a very nice l

I have been coming here for 2.5 years now - Rosie is my GIRL! I have to have my nails done for work, and she is detail oriented & does a great job every time. My appointment time is always honored, (which is not true for other nail salons) & I’ve never had any complaints. The salon is clean, I’ve always seen techs wearing gloves during pedicures - and see them sanitize their tools & workspaces. I don’t live nearby anymore but still make the drive to come here because I haven’t found a better nail tech than Rosie!

Rosie was helpful in helping me find the perfect look that I wanted for my natural nails. As a performer, I cannot have any color and I specifically wanted my nails to look normal throughout the rest of the day and not have any extra color to them. Rosie knew exactly what I needed and my hands are beautiful… And perfect for the stage!

The worst quality acrylic set I’ve ever received. VERY thick application and a terrible paint job. The apex is also just… off. When I asked questions about my service or pointed out when things were looking different than expected, I was dismissed. I had to ask the tech to fix my nails 3 times and honestly felt embarrassed for having to defend myself for the poor quality service. Leaving the salon covered in nail glue, acrylic, and black gel polish was annoying enough, but it’s more annoying that my brand new set has gaps at the cuticle that make them look a week old. That is not how I like spending my hard earned money. I will definitely not be returning.

I love coming to the salon. They always Remember me and remember my name, and Lan always does an amazing job whether it’s a full set, fill-in, or a pedicure. Today she soaked off my acrylics and shaped up my nails nicely, and we went with the dip powder.
