Mimi African Hair Braiding

I’ve been serviced by Mimi & her staff four times and each time my hair was beautiful and was done in a timely fashion. I’m from up north and use to fast braiding service with good quality. It has been a struggle finding someone who braids my hair the way I like and fast.

I told this lady I was going to get my hair shampooed and blow dried at 12:30, I live an hour away. She never asked how long I was going to be, she assumed it would take 10 minutes to wash and blow dry my hair which is bra length and thick. I get there at 3p she told me no, “the lady left already”. This is why I do not fool with AFRICAN HAIR BRAIDERS, period! This would have been my first run. Bad for business.

I loved everything about my experience getting my hair braided here. I'm very tender-headed. So I normally have pain associated with getting my hair braided but not this time.

Very professional and polite boho small waist length

I went her 3-4 years ago to get micro braids. I got them they took around a whole school day to get done. This was my first time getting braid extensions "professionally". The day before I stopped by to get an appointment. They asked what time I told them 8:30AM. Got there at 8:30 and they weren't even there. Now that I'm looking I see they open at 9AM, they didn't even bother to tell me that. They don't even have an appointment book. Because as it telling them they didn't even bother to write anything down in a book nor a phone. So after I got my braids, I remember my braids coming out from my edge with my hair intact with the root. Wasn't entirely their fault but my edges still have bald spots and haven't grown back since.
