Ming's Tease

I travel from Philadelphia to New York City specifically to get my hair cut by Ming. I have always struggled to find a stylist who truly understands how to shape and sculpt Asian men’s hair, and Ming does. He is a genuine artist. His work is meticulous in the best possible way, and he pairs that skill with a warm, welcoming attitude that makes every visit a pleasure. Thanks to him, getting a haircut has become something I look forward to, and he’s genuinely made me love coming to New York. Go see him!

Ming and his assistant are gems. They both listened to what my concerns were and tackled them with toner and a perm. I had initially visited Ming a month ago for a great haircut and returned. Ming takes his craft with passion and he educates with so much wonderful hair care knowledge! Ming’s assistant (I didn’t catch their name sadly) was so gentle and attentive w application and wash out. Their time and skills were very much appreciated! Highly recommend

Ming is the best! I have been coming here for years. I no longer live in NYC year round so now I just make sure I have time for haircuts whenever I’m in town. Even when I am away for a long time, my haircuts grow out beautifully. I can always trust him to also give me the best advice with what would work best for me and easy ways to style. Highly recommend!

I got a body wave, hair cut and hair styled and I am so in love with my new hair do! It’s so refreshing and such a great transformation just in time for the new fall season. Ming is so friendly and professional. I highly recommend!

I don’t live anywhere near the city and I’ll still book an appointment with Ming when I’m passing through. I haven’t found anyone else who just knows how to style my hair in the way I want it to turn out. I’m terrible with being able to explain I’m and I’m definitely not one to know quite what I want to do with my hair. He always just nails it. I’ll always recommend this little salon.
