Mint spa & nail

DO NOT COME HERE (unfortunately) I recently went to Mint Nails in Stamford for a regular powder manicure. I had been there years ago, but decided to give them another try when my usual nail salon was extremely busy and had me waiting a long time. I called Mint, they had availability, so I figured why not. First, I will say the environment is really beautiful. It’s peaceful, clean, well-maintained, and nicely decorated. They play relaxing music, and the overall atmosphere feels calm and elevated. My usual salon allows people to bring their kids in, so it’s often chaotic and not very relaxing — so this was definitely refreshing atmosphere-wise. However, I am very disappointed in the quality of the powder manicure. This manicure is only ONE WEEK old. These are my real nails dipped in powde

I arrived right @ opening time on Saturday morning without an appointment. Luckily, the were able to get me in right away! I have never been so pleased with the customer service and attention to detail at a nail salon before! I will definitely be back. Thia did my acrylic nail extensions with gel polish and did a wonderful job. She made sure to ask me if it was to my liking throughout the service. I then received a pedicure which was quite relaxing and the women did a wonderful job. I didn’t catch her name but thank you Mint Spa for a lovely Saturday morning treating myself!

Friendly staff but inconsistent artists/work. Got a gel manicure. A splotch that doesn’t come off and random brown dots that also don’t come off. Asked her to file my nail beds and refused to do it so it all came out bumpy.

If you’re looking to do acrylic nails this is not the right place. I did my nails on a Saturday and the following Wednesday one of my nail fell off and 8 days later, a different nail fell off. I paid 80 dollars with tip (very expensive) so definitely not coming back.

Very professional place. People speak English, take reservations and are fast when getting the job done. My friends got massages and they simply loved it. I got the gel manicure and regular pedicure, very relaxing and it’s lasting a long time. (My nails after a week)
