Mischelle Barnes Hair Salon

My service was a wash, detangle and silk press. Scheduling my appointment was quick, easy, and very professional. The overall environment is so warming & fun. Mischelle, as well as her other hairstylists were engaging with all of the clients in the salon. I went in with a birds nest, hair haven’t been detangled in several weeks and instead of being judgmental like most hairstylists, Mischelle was very understanding, patient, and even educated me on hair care. 10/10 recommend and excites me to book my next appointment!

My experience was so great . Bre did my braids . She was familiar and nice . In I love my braids so much . She did a wonderful job.

My first visit was a starter locs appointment with Bug was at 3pm and was told it would take 2hrs but I didn't leave until after 9pm. 2 people walked in and I guess they were regular clients because I was told to sit to the side several times while they got their hair done. My hair was rushed and not even twisted to the ends. Im big on loyalty so I gave her a second chance for a re twist. Waited over an hour appointment was at 5pm my hair wasn't started until after 6:30 and it was rushed again. Ends still loose and not twisted. She likes to braid your hair to hide the lazy work. What's the purpose of scheduling an appointment only to have to wait over an hour for service. I will not be going back a 3rd time and will definitely go somewhere else. Waste of money and time lack of consideratio

Mischelle is incredible! She did my silk press in under 2 hours! I left with exactly what I asked for! Her price was reasonable and she educated me on the products she used. WILL definitely be back!

UPDATE: My son got his hair redone and he approves of it. Update from 2 Star to 4 Star for the customer service upon his return to the salon. My son got his locs done here. Terrible Job. His locs were about 12-18 inches on the top of head only and he wanted to cut in half and reattach to the grown out sides. Looked great when complete, but the moment he undid the 2 strand twisting, they all started to fall out. His stylist agreed to redo his hair, so we shall see the outcome and I will update my post
