MK nails and spa

I’ve been coming here for 3 years and I have loved every appointment. The staff is so warm and welcoming; they remember me every time I come in! They are very good at taking my ideas and turning them into nail art! Everyone always compliments my nails and I enjoy showing off their hard work! MK Nails has been a place of comfort and happiness for me. I wish them all the best and will miss them since I’m moving! I definitely will try to come back for an appointment when I’m visiting.

I always feel like part of the family at MK Nails and Spa. The staff is always so kind and even asks about my daughter. They make sure I'm comfortable and even get me a Pepsi! The quality of their services is top quality, and they make you feel like at home.

Could not recommend this place enough! Incredibly kind and thorough workers, and high quality service for so much less than some competitors in the area. Easily my favorite salon I have ever been to. The atmosphere is so peaceful for me, and as someone highly sensitive to smells in salons their space didn’t trigger any headaches. Loved my pedicure and dip nails. Will definitely be back! They also mentioned that on Mondays-Wednesdays they are offering 20% off services and there are discounts when you purchase gift cards (as of Nov 2023).

Unfortunately, I didn’t have a great experience here, which was disappointing because I chose this salon based on positive reviews. That said, it was quick, and the prices are lower than many places, so if you’re not particular, it might still work for you. My Experience: Reservation mix-up: I booked a week in advance, but the appointment wasn’t on their schedule when we arrived. Thankfully, they still took my friend and me for dip-powder manicures. Rushed process: They started immediately and asked for our colors before we’d even had a chance to look. There was no cuticle prep, and overall attention to detail was lacking. I had to point out shaping issues, and the polish had brush strokes and bubbling. I ended up getting an additional polish to hide some of the bubbles and add opacity.

Pro: The establishment is clean and aesthetically pleasing. The customer service is good compared to my experience at other locations in this area! They're determined to give the customer good service. Cons: Though the final product was outstanding, it isn't what I requested. I brought my daughter in, asking for a specific service. -- color acrylic (to match what she already had), topped with a gel color of my daughter's choice. During the service, I realized she was given clear acrylic - instead of color, as asked. When I brought it up, the tech attempted to tell me why her decision was a good one - even though it wasn't communicated with me - the paying customer - before being made.
