Modern Nails

I used to not have an issue coming here. Until the point using a nail tip to rip off a set to redo a new one causing bleeding and pain. Burning when getting a new set because the acrylic gets on the skin and not corrected after being done. Being told “cuticle” work and then charged 30+ for a manicure that wasn’t even done is absolutely ridiculous. I’ve learned my safer choice is to just do my own nails and know everything is sterilized and done the correct way. They do decent but For me I refuse to come back now.

I've been coming here for the past 4 years and will no longer be coming back because of my experience with the nail tech “Chi Chi”. She was incredibly rude and unprofessional when I asked her to do a simple hibiscus flower design. I was charged $4 per nail the design was on. Seemed like she didn’t want to or was too lazy to do it and kept suggesting some really ugly flower stickers to put on. She was very harsh with the file and my cuticles were bleeding towards the end. I was disappointed because they usually do a great job and I always tip over 20% so it was quite bizarre.

This was my first time at Modern nails and I must say I made a awesome choice. Super clean and professional. Prices are super affordable. Stacy #1 did my French tips with nude acrylic. My nail beds are super short, so she and the owner suggested this look and I LOVE them. The nude matches my melanin skin tone. Definitely will be going back. I’m from Houston, TX. I’ve been in GA 3 years and have just found what I’ve been looking for.

My sister and I have been going here for over 10 years! I actually moved out of Gwinnett but I make the drive because their services are great and not overpriced. Everyone is always nice and they keep everything clean.

Showed them a picture of the design I wanted and they did their best to match it. Polish is not perfect and definitely got charged alot more than expected based on what i get charged for similar things at other places but overall a good experience.
