I have been coming here for about 7 to 8 years and it has been the best experience every time. The entire staff along with Manny are so talented and efficient that I’ve never had to complain, have a re-do or wait more than 5 minutes or so at my appointments. They quietly work like busy bees and make you feel pampered and cared for. The hair wash usually includes a short scalp and neck massage which is the cherry on top. When I’ve compared prices with friends for similar services, Modern Salon is more affordable as well. I will stay here until that all changes which likely won’t happen. Happy hair contributes to a happy heart!

I am a long time customer of Manny and I am told by the woman who answers the phone that he does not have time to cut my hair. She said that I could leave my number and that he would call me when he has time. I told her I already tried that and nobody called me back. She said that was the only option and that he may call back in 2 or so weeks. Never going here again. Not worth it. He must not realize there is a lot of competition.

I recently relocated to the area and was in search of a blow dry bar, but to my disappointment, there were none available. Consequently, I decided to give this place a try. Upon my visit, I requested a wash and style, emphasizing the importance of adding volume at the root and using a brush to curl the ends. However, my experience turned out to be a painful ordeal lasting 30 minutes. The stylist assigned to me inexplicably sprayed my wet roots with what I suspect was hairspray, and proceeded to handle my hair roughly, literally ripping it from the root during the blow-drying process. Adding to the frustration, the person assigned to me spoke no English, making communication nearly impossible. I made an appointment for a simple balayoge with the receptionist for a spot with Manny a week before my appointment. All the reviews said he was great, but he did highlights not a balayoge on my head as sloppy and fast as he could and then kept handing me off to different "hairstylist", plus they left me in the dryer for an hour, I was burning up. Everything just kept going downhill. When they were washing and drying they were tearing at my hair, everyone was so aggressive. I went back a few hours later to ask for a refund so I could get a real stylist to fix it and they just ended up putting "toner" on me and giving my hair more heat damage.

My daughter tried to give herself bangs and as you can imagine turned out to be a disaster. I called for a last minute appt before they closed and they were so accommodating. I took her around 5:45pm and they finished everything right before they closed at 7pm. They gave her a sassy haircut with bangs, to hide the ones she tried to cut herself. I also asked if they could put blue on her ends and it was so good, now I want color in my hair! The price was affordable but I would’ve paid anything because she’s been beaming since she saw herself in the mirror. Absolutely the best decision taking her to Modern Salon!
