Moon River Salon

My hairstylist Emma cut off more than I wanted and asked me if the length was ok after the cut it. My hair takes forever to grow back. I attached photos that I showed her so you can be the judge of if I got what I wanted. I felt as if she didn't take the time to figure out what I wanted and haphazardly cut my hair. She left the ends very blunt and heavy-- like someone cut my hair in a straight line. I got comments on how heavy and blunt they were after I left the salon. No matter how I styled them, they always flipped up. Worse, I contacted the salon 2 days later asking them to at least take some of the heaviness off, and rather than feeling empathetic that I'm not feeling good about my haircut, they challenged me by saying the hairstylists weren't on the same page about what I wanted. I p

I have been going here since I moved to SLO two years ago and absolutely love Moon River Salon. Everyone who works here is so kind and welcoming, and you always leave feeling beautiful and confident. As a blonde, finding a salon you can truly trust can be tough, but Lisa goes above and beyond every single time. She listens to what you want, makes it happen, and adds her own creative touch whenever you want to try something new and fresh. I leave feeling like my best, most beautiful self every time. I can’t recommend Moon River enough!

I have been to moon river salon to see Miranda at first and I was ready to buzz cut my hair off it was so damaged! Miranda is a genius and so sweet she saved me from doing that and helped through that process. Now I have been seeing Emily after growing my hair out to its natural. I had some damaged bleached hair I wanted her to color match to my natural and she color matched wonderfully! I know no matter who I go to here that I am in great hands with hair stylists that care about the integrity of my hair. I am forever grateful for their knowledge and expertise!

Tessa has done my hair twice now and I absolutely love love love her. She always takes the time to give me the color and cut that I want while prioritizing my hair health. She is also so easy to talk to. I get excited to go get my hair done after meeting her.

Tessa was awesome! I love how my hair turned out. I did a wash, cut, and blow dry and it was absolutely fabulous. She lightened up the weight of my hair so much and really made my hair look WAY healthier. Highly highly recommend
