Motherland Hair Braiding

So update hairstyle was great just was miscommunication with the time but I doubt they’ll do it again with me. I smiled at the end of the day thanks again ladies !!

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received on January 29th. I scheduled an appointment specifically for small/medium knotless braids; however, that is not what I received. The braids were larger than requested and did not match what was discussed prior to the appointment. I was told to arrive at 10:45 AM, yet the stylist did not arrive until 11:00 AM. Once the service began, it felt very rushed. I was informed during my appointment that the stylist was trying to finish quickly in order to make it to the DMV before it closed, which made me feel like my service was not a priority. Since the appointment, the quality of the work has been very disappointing. The ends of my braids have already started coming loose, to the point where I am now having to braid and fix them myself. T

Wonderful place to go get your hair done I enjoyed my first visit and I also met the owner I look forward to going back again to get my hair done well done shop

I have been going here for years and never had an issue until today. I even went to them personally before this post and they starting speaking on something outside of the issue along with speaking in another language instead of addressing me. Not only was my hair jacked up as seen in the photos but my glasses where stepped on and bent out of place during my appointment by an employee stepping on them after mistakenly falling on the floor. I was ok with my glasses but then when I seen my hair that really topped the cake! My hair is done incorrectly in the back (places I can’t see for myself) and she keeps telling me my hair is thin… uhmmmm ma’am I’ve been going her for yearsssss and this has never been a problem on top of my hair not even being thin!!

Got Senegalese twist recently and went to them because they were cheaper than others. And I would say CHEAPER DEFINITELY DONT MEAN BETTER, It’s only been a week and my braids are falling out. These start knots are big, I felt like I could’ve done a better job doing them myself. Just know if you get your hair done here don’t think the quality will be good. First and last time going here.
