Moxie For Hair

This review is for Nichole. I have been going to her for over two years and have referred clients to her. She helped me grow out a pixie and her haircuts have been great until yesterday. When I sat in her chair, she commented how great my hair looked grown out. I said I wanted to continue to grow it out and she firmed stated "no." Then I said I wanted the hairstyle more blunt where the back is not shorter than the front and another "no." Finally I showed her a photo with cute bangs and a third "no" so all things I communicated I wanted in my hairstyle were dismissed. She stacked the back after communicating to her I how much I dislike this. The side are choppy with uneven layers. (see photos). I have been a client for 20+ years and Melinda is gifted in hair, I have tried 2 others ladies and have always been happy. Moxie for Hair is a gem and wish I could find a place like Moxie in Knoxville Tn and it has been 3 years and have not been successful so needless to say when I go to Portland I make sure I make an appointment. You do need to make an appointment with advance notice because they are that GOOD!!

I really appreciate the time Sarah took with my hair today! I went from long to a dramatically short cut, and I couldn't be happier. She was thorough and was very helpful with how to style it, keeping it simple. There are stringent covid cleaning in place, which made me feel at ease. Definitely recommend!

Tammy is the absolute best! I was staying at the Embassy Suites and noticed I needed a bang trim, and she went above and beyond to make my hair perfect. Will definitely be coming here next time I’m in town!!
