MT Vernon Nails & Spa

Chose this place for its convenient location and got pretty decent service there. The salon is clean and the nail techs are nice. I usually got my nails done by the same person, but las Friday I switched to another tech because it was busy. The next day, my thumb broke in half doing a very practical task and I thought, ‘No problem. Surely I’ll remedy it on Sunday.’ I went in to do just that and was told I’d need to come back later that day—for something that likely would’ve taken 10 minutes to fix. I won’t be going back. Over $150 for a fill & French, and a pedi with no frills isn’t that expensive, but burning half a Sunday on fixing a thumb nail that shouldn’t have broken a day after service is.

They said the gel manicure would cost $45, and $10 for an extra special type of gel. She used colors that did not match the description, then charged $70 at the register. The male employee became very aggressive and rude, and said he would take $5 off. Everytime I go to this nail salon, I alway end up paying way more, and my nails really do not at all look too great for $70. I think it is a rip off, and all of the other nail salons in Canton and Baltimore City do a way better job, tell the truth of pay upfront, are way more friendly and professional, and honestly have about 4000% more of a selection than Mt. Vernon Nail. They are really weird, rude, and horrible everytime went there!

I recently visited mt Vernon for the first time today and had a fantastic experience. The staff were friendly and professional, and they did an excellent job on my nails. The work was exactly what I requested, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The salon was clean and had a relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend here for anyone looking for quality nail services.Kathy is the best

Really great salon, the staff are all very talented and professional and I have never been disappointed with how my nails turn out. Gentle on the nails with acrylics and great design work. Cathy did my nails today and they turned out perfect.

I would say the nail technicians are polite and they are doing their best. However, the gels that are using are not long lasting so it’s not worth the money that you pay. Also, they are working fast which is good from one hand but on the other hand it makes me stressed because I have to pick quickly a color to get the job done. The man in the front desk answering the calls is not very polite. All and all, I would suggest you find something more value for money. In the photos you can see my gel manicure after almost 1 month.
