Customer Reviews
I discovered this salon through Groupon and have been a regular ever since. The name outside may look different, but it’s the same Glow Nails. This women-run, local nail salon definitely deserves a spot on your list. The team works hard, and it shows in both their service and quality. Prices are reasonable, service feels personal, and their nail art is creative and fun. The only area for improvement is the massages and exfoliation, which could use a bit more experience. Overall, it’s truly bang for your buck—and they always go the extra mile to get you the style of nails you want.
My mom and I RARELY treat ourselves and after our amazing experience today it’s shameful to wait so long! Janie saved my toes from dooms day to front cover.. no joke the before and after is unrecognizable! It’s also nice when you get full service from toes to belly laughs! My mom’s tech, Frida was also the absolute sweetest! Overall amazing attention to detail, super personable and again, maybe a magician.. these aren’t the same toes!
I went to this location for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. The manicure was unusual: there was no soaking of the cuticles, no helpful cuticle care, and no type of lotion or massage at the close, however she did use GEL polish and a light. This, however, was passable, as you get what you pay for and I paid for a Groupon, so fine. My greatest disappointment came the following day, when my non-dominate index finger was chipped of the dark colored gel polish half way down the nail 20 hours after the GEL polish was applied. The pedicure was great, and I'm comforting myself over my super sad manicure that the pedicure was worth the price of the Groupon. Be aware if planning to pay full price.
Found these ladies on Groupon; was able to get in for a last minute Gel manicure and pedicure. The sign on the outside of the shop is not "My Glow Nails." The woman said they changed their name. The ladies were very quick and friendly. The only suggestion I would have would be when the pedicures are performed to give more pressure. It was very light and almost just a caress vs a massage. I also am having some chipping start after 4 days of application...it is a little concerning that it is supposed to last 2-3 weeks. I would still return and try again though.
I doubt they are certified or licensed. I was too embarrassed to take a picture of my nails before I went somewhere else to fix it. I didn't run away when she didn't know what a French Manicure was and that's my fault. Even if you hate it , you still pay while upset and trying to exit.
