N C Nails

The customer service here is terrible. Helen did my manicure on Saturday, 2/21. I have attached photos showing how terrible the shellac was applied and she cut my cuticles numerous times. Monday, 2/23 one of my natural nails has cracked due to her over filing. Monday 2/23 at 4:20PM I stop by the salon asking her to repair my nails and she tells me I will have to “wait for a long time.” After being disrespected in front of other customers, I left the establishment and will be contacting the health department due to the severity of exposed raw skin from the cuts I received. Very unprofessional and overpriced.

Had a wonderful experience........ Unfortunately I have to change my review I have to tell everyone the truth. I was not satisfied at all I was charged almost $400 for a service that was plain and simple. I didn't get any gems or crystals or anything of that sort. My nails only lasted a week. Now I'm using super glue to glue them back on because they're falling off. It's such a shame my 15-year-old daughter also shared that she was super uncomfortable with the way that Linda handled her nails because she hurt her a couple of times and felt uncomfortable saying anything because she was that forceful. It's so unfortunate that I paid so much money and had such a bad experience but I have to tell everyone how I truly feel because I don't want you to go to this place expecting superb and wonder

Older lady sat there talking about me while getting my nails done. Had just had a bad experience at another salon and decided to come to N C nails. She sat there saying she didn’t believe me because the other salon would had only trimmed one nail instead of all ten. I explained to her how I had mentioned I wanted them slightly shorter but it was a miscommunication. She continued talking poorly about me thinking I didn’t understand her. She put a new set and as I’m telling her that two nails are crooked she got defensive and would NOT listen. Then had the audacity to get upset when I told her just charge me for what I owe you. If I am paying for a service SHE SHOULD NOT be acting like that

I rarely leave reviews, but I feel the need to warn others not to spend their money here. I’ve been here twice, and both experiences were disappointing. Both times, my shellac chipped badly on multiple nails after just 3 days. The first time I went back to have it fixed, it continued chipping. The second visit was even worse — not only did the shellac chip again, but one nail broke after only 4 days. When I returned for a fix, the technician put regular polish on the broken nail and then covered all of my existing shellac nails with regular polish as well. Once she realized the mistake, she had another technician step in and avoided me for the rest of the appointment. On top of that, the nails they “fixed” are noticeably longer and shaped differently than the rest (I’m sure you can tell

The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, creating a very welcoming environment. The staff were all friendly and professional, which made my visit even more enjoyable. Although I wasn’t offered a drink, since I overheard other customers being offered drinks, it didn’t take away from my overall experience. For my first visit, I was quite pleased with the quality of service I received and would definitely consider returning in the future.
