I have been a customer at Nails Maxx for years - almost since they opened. There are so many talented manicurists and pedicures there that I just think you cannot go wrong when you make an appointment. One thing that is very important to me is the cleanliness of a nail salon, because truly so much can go wrong, but Nails Maxx follows very high hygiene standards. I have seen them open the packages of instruments direct from the autoclave, and throughout the day the salon is being cleaned multiple times. After 2 days of my Gel Manicure chipped off. Went back to have it fix the lady who did my Nails was very Rude ! - when I told her the gel was soft and not enough drying - She had a bad temper… I paid good money for the Gel manicure and it did not last for a Month but lasted for 2 days! Perhaps this lady should accommodate the customer and fix the issue with out giving the customer a hassle.

(1/11/25) I got a pedicure today by Tom, and he made me bleed. I walked out a little concerned that he made me bleed and only applied Vaseline to the small womb. I’ve been nicked before and usually get some alcohol applied. That doesn’t seem too hygienic to me only to apply Vaseline. Am I wrong to be concerned? I complained to the manager, and they came and cleaned the womb on my toe with alcohol. Tom lied and said that my toe was already bleeding when I came in and the he didn't do it. That’s what the desk manager told me he told her. I find that annoying. He didn’t even apologize; the manager at the front desk did. They took 5 dollars off my service for this. Pro: Private pedi “room” is automatic for everyone, technician was sweet (Mya), technician was gentle, technician shaped the nail correctly and evenly. Com: $53 for a mani pedi, the nail polish is on my cuticles on both my mani and pedi, I asked for a design and the technician couldn’t draw a straight line, instead of telling me she couldnt, she just did a shaky job. When she put the top coat, the design wasn’t dry yet so she just spilled the color. When I went to dry my nails, I didn’t know you need to click the button so I was sitting with no air for a while before I realized. This has been my go-to nail salon for years, and they do an amazing job. I’ve specifically gone to Jason for about 2 years and adore him! He’s incredibly talented with specific designs, and is happy to give you ideas too. The salon is clean and professional, and provide a range of services, with tons of color options. I’d definitely recommend calling ahead, so you don’t have to wait, although they have a walk-in option too.
