Nail Spa 2Q

I really wanted to like this salon since it is close to my home and upon first visit I had a pleasant experience with the owners. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Nail Spa 2Q. Pictured below are my nails AFTER they had already been fixed once (and to my shock, I was charged for getting one nail fixed only one day after my initial appointment- I believe I was charged $5). I had returned to the salon since two of my nails—that took months to grow—broke off, and as you can see the dip powder had cracked and flaked off from my thumb nails. I was told this was my fault and that I wouldn’t be discounted for having them redone. For reference- I’ve been getting my nails done (dip powder, acrylics, and gel) for the last 13 years and I have never experienced this before with a nail salon, let alon

I visited this salon around 9:30 AM and had a disappointing first impression. When I walked in, the only person present was a woman in a facial mask sitting in a pedicure chair, seemingly doing a personal treatment. I wasn’t sure if she worked there until she asked if she could help me. I explained that I simply wanted a bit of my acrylic shaved down, as it was too thick. She immediately responded, “Oh no, I don’t do that. I don’t work over other people’s nails.” I clarified that I wasn’t asking her to do a full nail service—just to shave it down—but she dismissed me again with the same response, as if brushing me off. I had a great experience here. The pedicure was relaxing and my nails look great. They are very friendly and accommodating as I was a walk in.

This is a great salon! They do a really nice job. Their salon is very clean and beautifully decorated in a Tuscan style. I found both of the nail technicians to be very competent and an exerts in their craft.

Rude as can be. Money hungry. Needed 2 nails painted was willing to pay for it of course (gel nail polish) and they told me to get it done where I got them originally painted they had customers coming in. Will make sure all my Sarasota friends know not to come here for such rude people.
