Nail World and Head Spa Cedar Rapids IA

This was my first time at Nail World. I had seen some negative reviews but decided to try it anyway because a friend recommended it. Unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed. They weren’t able to do what I originally asked for, which I understood, and I chose a different color instead. The service felt very rushed — my appointment was about 40 minutes, when I usually spend 2–3 hours with my regular nail tech. When I left, there was polish all over my cuticles. I honestly thought it would be fixed, but I was told I was finished and that really surprised me. Overall, I left unhappy with the result and won’t be returning.

First time going to Nail World and I went with a Bridal group for a wedding, about 7 of us. My experience with Ms. Kim was exceptional! We all had to get the same color but got to decide on design. I picked the 3D effect of water droplets for mine. She really took care of my nail bed and skin. This design was obviously new for her and she went ahead to practiced and asked questions to neighboring nail artist. I am fairly impressed and quite excited that it turned out the way I wanted it too and how accomplished Ms.Kim seemed with her work. It was a nice experience and I would go back to Ms.Kim for another fun design to try out 🖤 10/10

They are amazing! Trish saved my nails from the butchery of another place. Removed the heavy dip powder and created the best ombre gel powder look it was thin and matched my natural color.

As her maid of honor, I was deeply disappointed in how she was treated and how poorly our nails turned out. Several of us had nails that were rushed, uneven, and already breaking or lifting just days later. Despite this, we were all respectful throughout the appointment. What was most upsetting was the unprofessional behavior shown toward my sister — especially given that this was such an important moment for her. Extremely disappointed with my experience right before my wedding. My wedding was last Friday, and I had been going to Nail World for months to grow out my nails for the big day. I always enjoyed my visits, so I thought it would be a great idea to bring all of my bridesmaids here to get their nails done together in advance. I even called ahead and was told it would be fine as long as I gave a week’s notice, which I did. When we arrived the Thursday before my wedding, we came in staggered as planned, but no one was ready for us. Only one bridesmaid was helped right away, and the rest of us had to wait a long time. When someone finally started on me, she rushed through removing my polish and barely listened when I explained I wanted floral designs for my wedding nails. She kept saying “no”
