I just left with the worst manicure I have ever had. Katy- didn’t put on her badge (written on a paper inside a plastic ziplock) until the manicure was half finished. She’d already done the pedicure which was ok, because flip-flop weather is almost over. I asked for a French manicure and had very long nails for that reason! She cut one nail after I told her -just a little trim! I had already shaped and trimmed what I wanted. She cut my pinky to the base of my finger. She said ok ? I said NO longer just file. She obviously did not understand English because before I could get up she had grabbed my hand and cut another nail. I had no choice since 2 fingers were ruined I knew I’d have short nails or look silly. NEVER going back.

Was referred by many ladies where I work at. So I took them on their word. Was given to this lovely lady Tracy, did a small job not big. For the price of job was a little high. But okay I'll know better next time. But any way she started to put powder on nails she was to fidigy and when she was doing the final sanding of nails she used a different tool and didn't curve around the cuticle, so I have two nails that are lifting. One I had to use nail glue and waiting for the other to lift. And usually I have long nails. Glad I choose short. I felt like the vibe was off at the place. Edited: I believe her name was Tray from what her name badge was. And no need to fix it. I will wait for my original nail technician to fix your staff's error. Ty

I came in for a pedicure with absolutely no pain or discomfort in my right big toe. I left the salon with noticeable discomfort in that toe. After inspecting it, I found that a significant portion of the nail is missing/damaged. Given I've only had a handful of pedicures in my life (less than 10), this outcome is unacceptable.

First time visiting Nails By Kim since moving to LC November 2019, I was recommended by a lady at another store I stopped at. She was RIGHT, this nail salon is by far the BEST I've been to! They are so friendly, professional, and clean. They even have partisans up to protect themselves and us as their clients during COVID-19! I got a full set french manicure, a full pedicure and a wax. Both Kim the owner and Katy the technician that did my pedicure was absolutely AMAZING!! I'll be visiting them again!! THANK YOU!!

Decided to try this location based on reviews and unfortunately it will be my first and last visit. I previously had an overlay done on both my big toes at another salon. The tech didn’t know how to properly file my toes, paint them or remove any dead skin. I asked her a few times to file my nails and remove skin and mentioned I didn’t like the paint job and she continued to work on my feet without fixing the problem. I remained calm and respectful and asked another tech to communicate this to her as I believed we had a language barrier, but the second tech didn’t understand either. The owner Kim I believe came to fix my nails as she over heard the conversation and promptly fixed my nails and polished them correctly. Everyone was sooo sweet at this location and I appreciate the promptness
