Nails By Tony

I had a very disappointing and concerning experience at Nails by Tony. My pedicure began with water that was extremely hot, and no one checked the temperature before. Ouch. The biggest issue was the gel removal. The technician used a drill very aggressively and removed the gel from all toes, both feet, in under 30 seconds, going straight into my natural nail. It was painful enough that I yelped. Instead of addressing it, he stepped away and another technician took over. When I looked at my nails, they were clearly over-filed, very thin, and tender to the touch. You could visibly see pink through the nail. I calmly pointed this out because I was concerned about damage. Tony, the owner, came over and repeatedly insisted what I was seeing was leftover polish, not my nail bed. Even after lo

I enjoyed the time there. ❤️ Andy did a great job on my toes The nail tech Sandy did my nails and toes in pink.She did an awesome job.She's kind professional and courteous.She takes her time.She's very professional, and she conversed with you in a very good manner.The thing that I loved most about Sandy doing my nails is she uses this tool where she doesn't have to sand your nailsdown. She takes the gel polish off with this tool.So your nails don't get scraped or thinned. I love it. Sandy is my number one I will go to her all the time now. When I came in my nails were long and just needed to be trimmed and shaped. I got my dip soaked off and instead wanted a gel manicure. This is what I left with, nails that are way too short, they are scratched with different color variations and bumpy :( Very nice lady is the only reason I gave 2 stars - unfortunately I will not be back.

Nails by Tony located in Merritt Island was an unpleasant experience. I booked my appointment via online for 11:15am and arrived promptly at my reserved time. I was not seen until 12:00pm and the lady inside ruined my nails by utilizing incorrect drilling and buffering technique. As the lady put the builder gel on my nails and instructed me to put them in the lamp. My nail began to burn, sizzle, and smoke began coming out of the lamp. I do not recommend anyone getting there nails done from this place as they are unprofessional and I'll-informed on how to do nails properly.
