Nate's Barber Shop

UPDATE: I originally posted a review of this barbershop and gave it 5 stars. It’s been about two years of coming here and thought this would be a good time to give a follow up review. After a while, things can change and your opinion of a place can change as well. Nothing has changed. They are still amazing with top notch service. Everyone is so friendly. Nate is amazing and the other barbers there are too. I’ve never felt un-welcomed here. They take their time and never rush a haircut. I’ve sat through many haircuts and each time the work is nothing below 5 stars I’ve never once seen an unhappy customer. I’m thankful for finding this place.

I just love this barbershop. All of the barbers are friendly. And the location is very great. Old School vibes. As a woman who wears my hair natural, a short cut is the right style for me. Nate is my barber and he gets me in and out. All I do is color my hair afterwards. Thanks to Nate and his team. 😀 #YouRock!

All I asked for was a touch up on the sides & a tape. Why do this to a child ? Smh never again will I place my child in a butcher’s seat. I should’ve waited for Nate. Now we have to wait for his hair to grow back & a scar to heal 🤬

This place is awesome! I want to start by saying my husband was in the military for 9 years so when it comes to barbershops I’ve seen some of the greatest haircuts and some that were not so good. I’ve been to many, many barbershops. So with that being said I would say I know what to expect when going into a barbershop.I moved to W. Columbia about 2 years ago I didn’t know where to start taking my son.I started by going to a few that I won’t mention here and I got a not so good experience with each one. One barbershop took my son because his dad took him in but the next two times I tried using them, when it was just me, they said they wasn’t taking any more heads which is a little upsetting when you drive 20 mins so we decided to not go there anymore.
