I am truly impressed with Dr K R my hair is natural but very thick and she has my hair feeling nd looking I have a relaxer. Also educated me on some things and talk me through as she was doing my hair. The wash was that old school wash 😂 thanks again and will be seeing you in the future ❤️❤️❤️

This is the one and only place I will go to get my hair done. I’ve started growing out my hair 3 years ago come here for my trims every 6 months and I wouldn’t trust anyone else in the process. Ms. Kimberly makes me feel confident with what I’m doing with my hair and helps me understand the state of my hair, I learn something new every time I go. I’m from CA and make that trip twice a year just to get my hair done. I just moved to VA and will most definitely keep going to get my hair done. My biggest fear is that my curls won’t come back after the press but they always do I trust Natural Tresses to protect and care for my curls.

My bf and I scheduled an appointment for a trim -1:45pm and 2:15pm respectively. She did not start on my bf’s hair until almost 3pm. I didn’t get taken back until almost 4pm. She also neglected to tell us all of the fees and charges until the very end. She also cut too much of my own hair. She was ALSO trying to do another person’s hair between doing our services. This is ON TOP of doing SOMEONE ELSE’S hair when we arrived. And the person we booked with wasn’t the one who ended up doing our hair. If we had wanted Daisy to be the one to do our hair, we would’ve booked with her. So instead of focusing on the people who made an appointment, she was clearly trying to milk as much money from as many people as she could’ve We did not leave until after 5pm!!! I was looking for a place to get my hair washed and blow dried and I found Natural Tresses! I am so grateful I did because I had the best experience. I came in a few minutes before my appointment and I was immediately serviced. Kim did such a great job at getting the job done and she was gentle as well, using a detangling comb throughout the wash to ensure a smoother blow drying process. The shop is also so cute and they have a cute little giveaway they’re doing! Over all, I am very pleased with this place and will definitely be returning!

I use to go to this salon all the time and would experience the best customer service. I’m guessing the salon is under new management or something. Today I came to get a retwist, first off felt like I was being attacked at the washer bowl lol..I clearly asked for mild massage but it felt very aggressive.. during the retwist it felt rushed and just felt like she was being rough with my hair. No talking to the customer about how’s my day going nothing.. from reading other reviews I think everyone has gotten the same treatment. Towards the end I asked for mousse for a more curly look to my locs. She asked why and I told her and she said it would be extra.. lol.
