Not one to normally leave comments or reviews on places but, with the amount of traffic this place gets, i hope this helps someone in the future… If you are looking to get a LOW SKIN FADE do not go here. I asked to just clean up the edges/leave the top and she proceeded to “one size fits all” the entire circumference of my head. Edges look great but she had all the room in the world and still cheaped her way out of it. Not worth $17.50 and embarrassment. Take the time to find somewhere off base.

Absolutely the best barbershop to come get your haircut if you work on the waterfront portion of the base in Pearl Harbor. They don’t always have a big number of barbers ready to cut hair, but if you come early in the morning or later in the evening it’s a good way to get in and out quickly with a decent haircut. The best thing about this NEX Barber Shop is that it’s open early in the morning on both the weekdays and on the weekends. Definitely recommend it to everyone.

I would actually give 2 1/2 stars. We had a good and bad experience at this Barber Shop. Both of my sons got their haircuts at this location by two different Ladies. One son came out with a decent haircut . One son came out with an unfinished haircut because he stopped her in the middle of it due to her not understanding what he had asked her. He was not a happy camper. Therefore only 2 stars. Haircuts are $14. Both haircuts were paid and I did not even bother going back there to get the money back which they did offer but that would not fix the 4 inches she cut off of one side of his hair. Lesson learned for him . He would not allow me to post a picture.

My go to place for a quick haircut. Price for military haircut is currently $13. Only had my hair cut sloppily once out of the 10+ times I have been here. They pay close attention to detail and are quick.

There's poor customer service. I came in and watched the barber videophone chatting while a customer was sitting in the chair waiting for a haircut. Eventually the barber started haircutting but was still having a casual conversation in a foreign language on his earphone. I recalled seeing this a month ago with a different barber. I walked out.
