UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE: I called Emily on 11/2 to schedule a Korean digital perm and told her I would be traveling from Portland. She asked if my hair was processed/colored multiple time, my answer was no. She wanted pics of my hair & what I wanted, which I did. My appointment was set for 11/28. Because I have an older EV a friend drove to Seattle for the appointment. We arrived early and popped into the Salon and Emily clearly saw my hair - and said nothing. However, when I returned about an hour later for the perm, I showed her the same pic of what I wanted and was astonished when she told me that because I have fine hair, the perm would not take. I have never felt more taken care of by a hairdresser before. I got a Japanese cold perm here, and hours flew by as Emily doted on me and expertly handled my hair. She was informative and pleasant the entire way, and when it was time to wait, she even grabbed a popsicle for me from across the street! One month later, the perm still brings so many compliments, and somehow, my hair is actually healthier than it was before (much less breakage, I think because it's so low maintenance). I would give Emily 10 stars if I could. I was looking to get a digital perm since I had one in the past, but Emily recommended that I try a textured perm to add more waves and volume at the top of my head. I was nervous at first because she didn’t have pictures and I have thin Asian hair that is usually pretty flat, so I didn’t want it to be toooo curly. I took the chance and I’m so happy I did. This is the most I’ve ever loved my hair. Emily was also very kind and worked diligently on my hair, I felt extremely taken care of. Price was very fair compared to other salons too. Thank you, Emily!!!!

I got a straightening treatment done by Emily in October 2024 and it's been great! I have naturally fine and wavy hair so I was a little nervous to see if my hair could really handle it but I've had no issues! Four months later and it still air dries straight. Of course I've had a little bit of grow out since the treatment, so I'll probably go back to Emily once a year or so to get it touched up. Emily is also so sweet and great to work with! Would definitely recommend this straightening treatment!
