New Look Salon

I’ve been coming to this salon for about 5 years now, and I’ve NEVER had a bad experience. The salon is very family-oriented, and you’re immediately greeted with warmth and kindness as soon as you walk in. Every stylist there is hardworking and amazing. 🤩 I love getting my blowouts done by Ana! I also get my ends trimmed here regularly. I get my hair cuts by Joa she’s a beast with the scissors!! This salon is truly amazing, and you definitely get that authentic Dominican feel. There’s always great music playing, and they take care of their customers like family. i’ve never had an experience where my hairs been Burnt my the Owner or a haircut.. so it seems like some of the negative comments here are coming from people that have never attended the salon..

This salon should be shut down. I went in for a trim and this "insane owner" of the salon scalped my hair. Its completely out of shape. It is the "Absolute Worst" hair cut I have ever gotten in my life. It is going to take a long time for it to grow back so I can go and get a "real" haircut. You get what you pay for! She is the absolute worst and has no clue as to how to cut hair!

If I could give this place zero starts I would. I came in and asked for a wash and trim, and the stylist recommended to do a conditioning treatment and I agreed when we went to the washing bowl she was scratching at my scalp and I’m not nice way. It didn’t feel comfortable at all and the water was also very hot. I don’t know how she didn’t feel the hot water on my head, but I did tell her that the water was too hot and she if she could change the temperature. When it came to the blow drying remember, I had originally asked for a wash and a trim, when she started blow drying my hair it felt like the blow dry was on 1000°. My scalp felt like it was being burned. I was constantly flinching and maybe that’s just an experience that comes with getting your hair blown out, but I did not like it a

Ana always treats me like I'm the only customer in the salon, love it! I get the best treatment and so does my hair. She's also NOT scissor happy. Ana does my color touch ups to cover my white hair that like to pop up at only one temple. I typically get a wash, deep condition and roller set; a trim once every other month. My hair has thrived under Ana's care. Hope this helps!

My hair is burnt and dry now. Took me forever to grow healthy natural hair and now I have to start from scratch. My hair smells burnt even after washing my hair 4 times since. I highly don’t wouldn’t recommend getting your hair done unless you want to be bald headed after smh
