New York Center for Orthognathic and Maxillofacial Surgery

I have been a patient of Dr. Anthony Cerciello since August 2024 and I have been quite content with the very competent and comforting treatment I've received. From my first extraction in 2024 to bone debridement in a different part of the mouth (performed with Dr. Schwartz at LIJ) to placement of a dental implant - to more recently, removal of a remaining tooth root on a upper third molar, Dr. Cerciello has explained the procedures in detail and provided reassurance during and after the respective procedures. To anyone who needs a tooth extracted, always go to an oral surgeon; if you're in Queens or Nassau, consult with NYCOMS, first. From the front desk staff to the dental assistants/techs to Dr Cerciello, himself, everyone has been helpful every step of the way.

I had jaw surgery with Dr. Schwartz and Dr. Cerciello, and they made the whole process as smooth as it could be. From the start, they were patient, responsive, and took the time to answer all my questions, which helped ease a lot of my nerves. Everything was clearly explained, and I always felt like I knew what to expect. The coordination between the doctors and the staff made things feel really seamless. I'm really glad I had my surgery done with them and would definitely recommend them to anyone going through something similar.

5 stars is not enough! From the initial contact with the practice to the level of service and care I received I am confident you will love this office. Dr. Allen Glied is a surgeon who delivers excellent care and makes you feel comfortable from the moment you meet him. He had to do a complicated extraction on me and I experienced no post operative swelling or pain!! He works with an all star team you could tell they have it down to a science- seamless and in sync. If I require any future oral surgery I will certainly be back!

Dr. Sachs saved me in 1995 when I had a jaw problem. He operated on me, wired my jaw for two months, and helped me make it through a horrifying experience. He and his staff, along with Dr. Schwartz are excellent. We traveled to Long Island from central NY many times, but it was worth the trip. I will be thankful for his expertise for the rest of life. As I sat there after surgery in tears, not from pain , but just so scared he said to me... "these bad times will make the good times so much better". He was so right.
