NEX Beauty Salon and Day Spa

It was cheap but not what I asked for. Went there for a style for a navy ball. Called ahead and mentioned I didn't think my hair would hold a curl for what I wanted they said they believed it would. Then I did mention it again and she said she could do what I wanted. It wasnt the absolute worst thing I've ever seen but it was not what I asked for. I ended up going home calling my hairdresser back at home for help fixing it and did it myself. It was cheap $50 for style but they charged me a long hair fee which was ten. Truly could have done without and saved the money. Was in and out in less than 45. I'd like to post a photo but I don't have that option? No one was rude and she wasn't bad to work with so no hate just not what I asked for

I am from another neighbor island, and I’ve been going there every chance I get, since my original stylist moved away. When I’m on Oahu I go there and see Patricia, she is friendly and so kind. She colors cuts my hair and does a fantastic job! Everyone is nice and sweet .

To start The only reason I have given two stars is because everyone was really nice and sweet we hen we were there. I made an appointment at this salon because when I call I asked if they had any one that specialized in doing black hair and they said yes they have someone who could do it. So I brought my daughter she wash conditioned and blow dried her hair but when she got to flat ironing her hair she seemed lost she was trying to rush it because she had another client coming in and she wasn’t using product that would work for her hair by the end of it my daughters hair looked like I used a hot comb on her head but didn’t know what I was doing and when we left we were outside her hair immediately started to puff up🤦🏾‍♀️ I felt so bad for her because she was so excited to get her hair done

Switch here from my normal salon for more affordable pricing. Second visit was charged different from first visit and charge "long/dense hair fee" without being quoted prior. For reference, hair is about 2in past shoulders, very fine/thin, and straight. No other salon in 30years has called my length/density abnormally long or thick. Ended up being 30$ more than my original higher end salon that I left to cut cost!

This is my go-to salon! I highly recommend making an appointment with Michael. He has been patient with me through all of my hair adventures. I went in to see him today and he worked his magic yet again. I love my new hair!
