Nexx Level Barber Shop

Just moved to area from out of state, was looking for a neighborhood barbershop to call my own. I made it easy for him, just a taper.. shape up around the ears, but leave the front hairline natural… I go home look in the mirror, since the barber never handed me one to see. Never even introduced himself, only asked me a quick question about the cut, and just rushed the service. Taper was choppy, didn’t clean up around my ears well. Me being a barber myself I always expect to knotch service ( and no the shop wasn’t busy, it was just us 2 in the shop until right before he finished) I guess on to the nexx shop lol.

I booked an appointment for 5pm and the lights are on everything on but the door is locked. Waited for 12 minutes for a response and i called and texted. The appointment was confirmed and no one followed up with a call or text in regards to cancelling. Bad business, first time trying this place and looking for a new barber for my son. Will have to last minute book another barber. What an inconvenience.

James was amazing, walked in with a charger issue,and he got me cleaned up and my wife even said "you look like when we were dating". Will be back every time

I'm going to be Petty because I believe in high standards... Walked in as a first timer at 4:30 on a Thursday with no appointment. Would have liked a bit more excitement and energy in the atmosphere but it picked up within an hour. The greeting was a basic "Whats goin on. There's seats in back as well if you wanna sit." It was about 20 minutes for my first child to be seen, about an hour for myself and an hour and a half for my second child. My first child and myself both took about an hour to get a haircut and my second child took about 45 minutes which had us leaving at 7 p.m. What I look for in a good Barber Shop haircut is some good professional conversation and that they consistently keep up with keeping the hair off of people's faces.
