Bro.Nicko is a charming young man! His wondrous works is totally awesome! He turned me into a butterfly! I’ve had haircuts before, but. his way of cutting is like a styling. He thought i wanted a perm or whatever ladies need for their locks. I told him to cut it all off, but, he did better than that. He gave the shortest cut with such a look of beauty, grace and style! I looked 10 years younger! And, he agreed, lol! I was visiting from another state and never had the same type of experience! That was 4years ago and I have to make a special trip to come back!

When I moved to Brooklyn I did a lot of google searches about where to get the best haircut. Over the course of a year, I went all over Manhattan trying out different (sometimes expensive) salons and barbers that were recommended, and never went back a second time to any of them. About 6 months ago I was going out of town and needed a haircut, so I chose Prospect Cut and Shave since it was near my house. Irina was great, taking time to find out what I wanted. She always takes her time and makes me feel like I am her only customer, never just rushing me off because of another appointment. I was so stressed running around to places so far away from home, turns out the best barber is right here in my own neighborhood.

Irina is the best! She is always willing to work with what I want even if it changes every time. She’s worth every visit !

He’s patient and very detailed so you get a perfect haircut by the owner (NICKO). I recommend you will not be disappointed!

Top Quality service for beyond affordable prices! My barber of 21 years was unfortunately closed down due to the pandemic and it was a massive struggle to find a clean, professional and high quality barber. Stumbling upon Nicko's Unisex Salon was nothing short of a blessing !
