Non-chan(Nori) is the Best! All of my children have very picky about their hair styles and I was having a hard time finding the good salon for them. Non-chan is the hair stylist who answers 100% to their wishes. He is very calm and professional. We really likes his personality, the atmosphere of the salon, and his playful interior design (all made by him) that can be found in many places. We highly recommend!! You may not know where it is, especially since there are no signs, but it is a door with a white stripe and an intercom.

I have been going to Nori for 15 years and I refuse to go anywhere else! I constantly get compliments on my haircut and he is just the loveliest guy, very accommodating, and thorough. The space is so sweet too, with lots of fun little touches, many of which he made by hand. It is very quiet and tranquil and I always leave feeling calmer than when I came in. He and his wife have their own line of clothing that they make by hand as well. I can’t imagine another place that gives a better haircut or atmosphere in NYC.

I have been getting my hair cut with Nori for 21 years now. I found him because I liked a coworker’s hair style and asked her who was cutting her hair. I find Nori very attentive, easy going, really good at what he does and I also like his aesthetic, from how he set up his salon to the choice of music that he plays there. His hair washing is also really good and relaxing. He uses high quality products as well. I have not been disappointed once. Highly recommend his services. It’s also way cheaper to go to Nori than to a regular hair salon.

I've been going to Nori for over 10 years now-- he feels like a secret you want to keep to yourself so you can still get an appointment! He offers really excellent, meticulous haircuts, and he has a great eye-- I sometimes just ask him to do whatever he thinks is best! I also like the atmosphere of his salon-- very relaxed, and it's fine to either chat or remain silent.

Amazing haircut!! He is so detailed and spends the time to make sure everything is perfect. Got the recommendation from my roommate and am so pleased😊
