Woman was rude throughout, complaining when I didnt like the color she selected for me unprompted and when I politely requested she do an extra coat. Still tipped 15% at the end and she literally stopped me from leaving because it wasn’t 20%. She then would not let me leave until I showed her my phone screen to see the amount I had Venmoed her (18%). She started to complain about the 20% again, but in the end I just left before she could continue (did end up tipping the 18%, unfortunately). Will not be returning, but this may be a singular experience with just one employee as it seems others have had more positive encounters!

I’ve been coming to Oasis for about a year. It’s a really well known spot in the West Village. And while it’s not the biggest or fanciest nail spa you’ll ever go to, I promise the service is unmatched. There’s always a wait and it makes sense as to why. The technicians don’t rush through the services. They take their time, make sure to be extremely gentle and precise and truly care about your comfort. They use the highest quality products, i.e Essie, OPI, CND, etc. I’ve done both gel and gel extensions here and I ALWAYS get compliments on my nails. I did nail art for my birthday as well and I was so happy with the result. For the quality of work, the prices are fair and they don’t push you into other services you don’t want. Usually walk in without appt and never have to wait too long. I’m OCD about my nails and they are always super detailed! Gel manis last for so long, never lift or peel (and I use a lot of oil in my skin and hair care routines).

I’ve been going here for years as it’s in the neighborhood. Jenny and her staff are fantastic! Very friendly and great at what they do. Wendy is my go to because she is great with nail art. All she needs is a reference pic and she can recreate it! They also give fantastic massages.
