I just moved to New Haven from Pittsburgh, where I have had the same stylist for 10-plus years. Switching salons, especially in a new city, can be a really intimidating experience. Only 1 touch is beautiful, clean, comfortable, and most importantly, extremely welcoming. Mia did an INCREDIBLE job with my hair, and went the extra mile to suggest treatments for some dry scalp I was dealing with, and a trim. I left the salon with my hair looking exactly how I wanted it, and Mia’s suggestions felt very rooted in care and not an attempt to upsell extra services. I am so happy to have found this place, and look forward to being a regular.

Started coming to Only 1 Touch since Covid and absolutely love the experience and professionalism of the salon. The owner, Latonya has been doing my hair and I always love the results. She is such a positive role model that always cares about her clients.

All I have to say is AMAZINGGGG This is the best place I have ever gone to do my hair!!! Everything from the service to the worship music being played as you walk in. I loved everything about the experience. This is a great place to go for an affordable silk press. My silk press has lasted for a long time. I especially have high praises for Faith, she did my hair and handled it with care. I could tell she knew how to deal with natural hair. Something very hard to find in CT I had a bad experience with another salon, so this place was really a life saver. Thank you to this establishment for such a wonderful experience I have recommended it to all my friends in the area. Great staff, quality experience, Blessings!
