Onyx Nails & Spa

I've been to Onyx twice now and had great experiences. Both times I brought inspiration pictures and both times they were able to surpass my expectations. A special shout out to Kevin for my neutral nail request. I am new to manicures and he took the time to explain different options (acrylic, dip, TAP) and what would work for my thin nails. Another special shout out to Sophia for her amazing take on my nail art request. She was easy to work with and made the experience fun and relaxing. I love the flair she added to the design. Left both times loving my nails and feeling like I got exactly what I wanted. Great experiences!

The worst nail extension job I've ever had, it left a lot of acrylic under my nails, I ordered almond shape from military standard and left me some tips that I didn't like. Five hours later my cuticles start to hurt because there is excess acrylic around. For $70 that they charged me and ended up hurting me, I had better not have requested anything, I don't know if to finish with me quickly and make another client. For the other service, the pedicure girl was very nice and understandable. I loved their service, the massage, the hot towel and the color change, I clean the excess cuticle, plus a good exfoliation on my feet. I do recommend her.

I just moved here from NC so I’m salon shopping and this was my first stop. I was extremely disappointed in the quality and structural integrity of my set. I got a fill with liquid gel which I’ve been getting for years and I’ve never had any issues with cracking, breaking etc. and I work with my hands a lot. Visually this set was fine. But after a WEEK the polish on my french tips were chipping, there were polish gaps I didn’t notice in the salon, 1 of my nails cracked simply opening my car door and my hand slipped and two of my tips completely broke off while I was literally just washing dishes 🙃 This set is only 1 week old. Safe to say I will not be returning.

This was by far the best experience I have had my whole life. I’ve gone to many nail salons and came here from out of town for a visit! I am very tempted to make this a thing where we come back! They treated all 5 of us professionally and kindly. They explained everything with the prices and made sure we were good along the way!
