Ouly's African Hair Braiding

I will never return here again!!! Today was my second time returning here and I regret it to the fullest. Only reason why I gave them a 2 star is because the second last on my hair was nice and fast. They are rude and talk about you in their language. Little did they know I had a language translator and I was listening to what they were saying but I played it nice and cool. I got Boho Knotless braids mid back and was charged $220 which isn’t bad at all but the lady they put on my hair didn’t seem like she knew what she was doing. My Braids in the front do not match at all. I’ve gotten BoHo knotless before and They always match on both sides. My middle part is a crooked part. She had to ask me to grab my phone and see if my line was straight, but I really couldn’t tell so the lady next to u

I will never go there again the owner is a scammer. She gave me one price of $160 for micros because I was bringing my own hair then when I got to the shop she changed it to $200. Told me $160 meant she braids half way she barely braided my hair so I agreed for her to braid pass my hair for $200 she said okay still didn’t braid pass my hair but charged me $180. When I got home my hair was freezy in the back because she did not do what I asked. Only did some in the front yet charged me more. She argued with me the next day and demanded I pay another $20 and it still wasn’t done correctly. Horrible customer service and they pull on your hair even after you tell them not to.

I normally don't post reviews but I needed to in this case. First I've been a continuous customer for several years and have sent them a lot of clients. I get the same style everytime I come and have never experience such horrible quality ever. I got my hair braided on a Monday and by Saturday I had some sliding out and several that looked as if I had them for months. I reached out to Ouly and even sent her the pictures and let her know that I was not satisfied with my hair and this was unacceptable and to let me know what could be done. She didn't even have the decency to respond. One week after having my hair done by Oulys African Hair Braiding, my braids began to slip. Once they began slipping, I took it out, and my hair went with it. I lost a lot of hair because of two women working on my hair. Not to mention, in the middle of me getting my hair done, I got coughed on by a woman doing the back of my hair. Very unprofessional. A lady was HOUNDING my mother for money the entire time. They eat while doing your hair without washing their hands. Braids were cute tho. 6/10

I came here yesterday to get box braids and I think that was my very last time being a customer . I have been a repeat customer of many years to this shop. The owner is very money hungry and she tends to change the prices of services on you that we’re quoted to you even when she’s not the one that’s braiding your hair…..My husband is from there town so I understand the language. They sit in shop as they’re braiding your hair and talk badly about you. How dare you talk about the customers that are helping you to feed your family. If you were providing this same braiding service in Africa, you would not even closely make as much money that you’re making here in the U.S……please respect your customers because they’re the ones that are making it possible for you.
