Outsiders Hair Studio & Salon

I had a haircut appointment with Alix. Upon entering all the stylists greeted me and immediately asked how they could be of service or if I needed anything while I waited for my stylist to be available. Alix was amazing. She (apologies if pronouns are incorrect) asked what I was invisioning for my cut and nailed it. Even accommodating my request for a dry cut. This was my first experience with this salon and Alix and I'm so pleased with the results. The cut was quick, quirky, and I would definitely recommend this salon to anyone looking for a welcome environment and stylists who are pros at their profession.

Oh my total wonder-fullness! This is a Reno Gem if there ever were one! Delightful Midtown location. Super cute spot; inside and out. Absolutely adorable place & people. Melany is light and joy! After her magic, I floated out of Outsiders! Will never go anywhere else!

This has been a wonderful place to go for my haircut after recently moving to Reno one year ago. Jessica is the best stylist I have ever had. She is the one who taught me that my heavy coarse hair is actually naturally curly and has really helped me become more comfortable with my hair than I have ever been in my life. I have lived in major cities all over the US and this has been the best place for me so far. Thank you.

the service was nice, water served in a mason jar and nice stylists. i believe if i went to a different stylist that i would have had a different outcome. to start, the stylist was five minutes late to the appointment, i had gotten there on time and the stylist wasn’t there. then there was barely any conversation and personality from the hairdresser as the service was silent for most of the time. i wasn’t aware of what was going on with my hair. my hair is naturally dark and i was hoping to at least lift to what color my highlights were. i left with brassy/orange roots and blotchy bleach spots all over my hair. horrible color job, i would never recommend anyone to go here for color services. i spent over 200 dollars only to be met with another service that would cost me over 100 dollars. i

Outsiders has such a mellow and cool vibe. Melany is amazing and I left there completely in love with my hair both times she has cut and styled it.
