Favorite salon I’ve been to repeatedly in all of California. I have been going every few weeks for the last 6 months and I can definitely say Pauline runs her shop in a way that creates community with exceptional customer service and nail techs. Nikki has been my nail tech for the last few months and has done an amazing job progressing me out of GelX into dip powder and strengthening my natural nails. Since going to Paint By The Pier I have been stopped countless times by friends and strangers to compliment the quality of my nails. If you treat the people there with the respect they deserve you’ll never go anywhere else!

I came in for acrylic/dip removal and manicure. The old product was filed down very aggressively and now my nails are all so thin that several of them are tearing like paper from the side walls and the free edge. My nails have never been this flimsy before. The polish application was also very streaky and bubbly. I have had to cut down my nails to prevent more tearing. It will take months to grow my nails back to normal again.

They are very kind and patient! They are great people and are super good at what they do! I would come back all the time if I could!

Paint by the Pier is a Gem! I absolutely love Paint by the Pier! The people there are so friendly, and I always have such great conversations when I'm getting my nails done. Plus, the vibe is always great with good music playing. They do an amazing job on my nails for a really reasonable price, which is a huge plus. I always get gel extensions, and they last a full month without chipping! It's seriously the best I've ever had.
