***I posted this review in February of 2025 and just noticed that it was removed. I'm posting again because I think my experience is important for people to know.*** I brought in an inspiration photo except I wanted the silver on top and the purple on the bottom. I not get anything close to that, Though I could have lived with it if the color was at least good. But what I left with was an embarrassing mess. Even before I left the salon, it was clear something wasn’t right. After I had already been fully styled and should have been able to leave, They had me stay for another 90 minutes so they could do some "color correction". Cat is literally a genius and an artist, I love them so much! They’re the first person to make me feel like I love my hair, and to make me feel like it’s not “messy” or “bad.” They’re honestly the best, and always do such a good job when I go in. I’ve recommended Painted Curly to every curly haired individual I know, and I don’t plan to stop.

My daughter found this establishment on line for me as they specialize in curly hair. I am embracing my curls but didn’t know how to. I was having a hard time finding a person who knows how to cut curly hair. Now that I have found Cat I will be coming back.
