called morning of and they were able to fit me in at 1:30 for a full set and delux pedi! was debating getting my nails done out here as I am used to east coast and city nail salons with a lot of creativity and options but they were the only salon out here that offered gel builder instead of acrylic so i went for it! the nail tech was nervous to try the lipstick shape i requested but after explaining it was very patient and did an amazing job on my set for her first time with the shape💚💚💚 pedicure was awesome also took their time fixing my athlete’s feet and did a beautiful french tip even with my nails being shorter thanks again for your patience and services! i believe the nail tech I went to was Gypsy but correct me if i’m wrong !

My favorite nail salon in Santa Barbara. It’s consistently clean, efficient, relaxing and my nails always look great. Especially my cuticles. The polish is always applied really well and lasts. So glad I found papillon!

I arrived at Papillion Nails studio on September 12 at 12:45 PM and was immediately told by Jimmy , the owner, that I was 15 minutes late for my appointment with him and that it was now "too late". I told him that I I believed myappointment was at 12:45 and that since I booked an hour and 20 minute appointment with him, I should have one hour and five minutes left even if was "late" which I don't believe that I was. I asked him if he could at least remove the nails that I currently had which he reluctantly agreed to. 1/2 hour later, with my nails removed, he told me that I was done. I asked him if he could please apply some nail polish to my now naked Nails. He said that no, he didn't have time to which I responded "you cannot have another appointment until at least 145 as I booked on

Papillon is the best nail salon I've been to! Gypsy is AMAZING, she takes great care into making sure her clients' nails are healthy and to their liking. She always makes sure to make my nails as perfect as she can. No one has ever done my nails better! I never leave feeling disappointed. My mom gets her nails done by Jimmy, and says the same of him as well. There's no TV in the studio, which is very relaxing as they play a great mix of music instead. They only take appointments, so when you arrive you won't have to wait around or feel like they're rushing. With that being said, I highly recommend making sure you're not late for your appointment because if you are, it puts them behind for everyone else and that's not good for anybody. I am so excited to have tracked down my favorite nail techs. Jimmy and his daughter Gypsy. Between the two of them they have been doing my nails (dip) and toes (gel) for years, Their new salon, Papillon Nail Studio is beautiful, clean, and convenient. Plenty of on-site parking, lots of color choices, and super comfortable massage pedi chairs. I wholeheartedly recommend both Jimmy, & Gypsy for all your mani/pedi needs AND their new salon at 3528 State Street, Santa Barbara.
