I’ve been getting my nails and toes done by Linh since 2012. She previously worked at one other salon before coming to Paradise Nails (near Weis Market) on Gorman Road in Laurel, MD, and I’ve continued seeing her here ever since. It’s a cute, older shop that’s nicely decorated and staffed with extremely talented and professional nail artists. On the rare occasions when Linh isn’t available because she’s on vacation, she has recommended other staff members, and they’ve always done an amazing job in her place. If you’re looking for an affordable yet high-quality nail salon, I definitely recommend this place. Even though it’s a little out of the way from my house, I will continue coming here because every service I receive is exceptional.
I used to like this place went back to get dipped powder set the First Lady that did it. Made sure to give me a good base no lumps very great shape. Today I go and this lady named Ana does my set very careless she only put one layer of powder and I have lumps on my nails very uneven application and she rude she for sure was talking mess in her language because I was questioning the prices as to why is it $10 extra for cuticle removal when that should be included already with the service and it’s annoying that almost no one there talks English properly. So please save yourself the bad experience and go elsewhere
Went to dip nails. The first young woman on the right as you walk in serviced me. She talked to owner and everyone else the entire time as she attempted to do my nails. Layer after layer, thick and cloudy was the result. When she put the moisturizer on my hands to do final mini massage cuz service is over she asked me, “how was your thanksgiving?” I couldn’t believe my ears. Ignored me the entire time and addressed me as she left. I paid, even added a tip out of courtesy, even after horrible service and terrible work. She left so much powder on my fingers and a white cloud on my thick nails. I needed to get somewhere and couldn’t complain then. I returned the next next and the owner’s husband told me to come see wife Monday that she would fix it. When I got there wife/owner wasn’t there or
UPDATE: just two weeks later and nails started popping off. The ones that didn’t pop off I removed easily, without pain or any tools. They were done very poorly which solidifies my thoughts of not coming back which is unfortunate because they are only a 5 minute walk from my home. I have been very disappointed with my services here lately. Today I arrived as soon as the salon opened and there were a couple other customers. I requested a full set with gel and a regular pedicure. My nails were done first which was fine. However, they already look a couple weeks old as she left a gap between my cuticles and acrylic. Seems like a ploy to get a customer to return sooner? A couple nails are uneven. However, what really turned me off is that she began to rush at some point because another custo
I can’t talk about this salon enough!! Everyone is so kind and they all welcome you in every time. Everyone is so detailed and takes their time - not only on your service but also getting to know you. I do see Misa regularly but they are all awesome! Lilly is really great with shape and design, Lynn takes her time in detail work and Traci is very sweet and will help you with nail health. Everyone in the salon will be more than willing to take care of you. It is a no frills kind of place but it is clean and they do wear masks, keep up plastic dividers and disinfect between all clients.
