Patience Hair salon

I passed this place on my way to another place to do a last minute lace wig install. I walked in and was told they knew how to do it and they started on braiding my hair down right away. The lady that braided my hair was very nice and listened to me when i told her a braid or 2 was too tight, she took it right out and made it loose. Then i met the owner Patience and she did my wig install for me. She was so down to earth and accomodating. I needed it done for that night which was my birthday and i needed it done for a wedding which was the day after my birthday. My wig is still nice and laid. She was very knowledgeable and even told me to come back in the morning so she coukd style me for the wedding. My hair was so beautiful i didnt need to. I was looking for a closer salon since moving and this was the most perfectly convenient spot for my daughter and I ! Very professional, very experienced, and extremely satisfied with the results! We will definitely be going back ! Thank you !

If I could give this place a ZERO star rating I would. I had a very negative experience, it was so bad I was on the verge of tears. I came in to get my hair braided (Box Braids) to use as a protective style but I was the one doing the protecting from the hair stylists, and I had TWO of them. I have a lot of hair and they were trying to purposely SABOTAGE the health of my hair. They kept trying to detangled my hair with the SMALLEST tooth comb, even though i detangled it IN FRONT of them and one the braiders blow dried my hair. They continued to comb it from the roots to end; not only was it painful but they were ripping out hair, and when I tried to show them how to comb it properly one of the braiders caught an attitude and left the other girl to braid my hair alone. I have nothing but great things to say! I honestly don't understand the negative reviews? I've been going to Patience for almost 5 years. They do an amazing job and the prices are great! They always do my hair exactly how I ask. People always compliment me and I always refer to her. She is also a beautiful person inside and out. The staff are very nice and diligent. Highly recommend.

I got there as soon as they opened, I was a walk-in, I was seated almost immediately. I showed the young lady, I believe her name is Monjai, which I am sure I am spelling incorrectly, the style that I wanted it was part braids part cornrows and she executed the style exactly the way I wanted. I am very pleased. I love the atmosphere. The ladies are all very nice, welcoming and the conversations in the shop flows perfectly, it was smooth, intelligent and fun. This is my place.
