Perfect 10 Unisex Salon

Please be very careful and proceed with caution. Unfortunately due to severe damage (breakage/thinning from improper bleaching technique as well as chemical and thermal scalp burns) I lost most of my hair and had to cut it completely off and start from scratch, after growing it long for three years. Thankfully Dermatologist concluded that the damage to my scalp was not permanent. Inexcusable work from a "professional " stylist and salon to say the very least. I sincerely hope that no one else has to experience this kind of travesty that was done to me. Below are before and after photos. I should have just stuck with a trim.

This is a weird review to write because the first time I went the woman who did my hair did it perfectly. I told her I was going to my Mom's Memorial Service. So well done. I do not know if she was in her feelings, or hadn't had sleep but the second time my hair came out a mess. 1. She lies and tells me she has to charge me more for doing the twists smaller, when I came back and realized she did them smaller than this for my mother's service than she did when she did my hair again! She did the first row in the back and had me check the size and they got progressively larger as she went up my head! They were supposed to all be the same size. 2. She did a horrible job. I booked Shakeita as my stylist for medium box braids and the appointment was amazing. My hair looks great!! Shakeita was gentle with my hair and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire appointment. If you’re looking for a hair salon, I recommend coming to this one. All of the stylists are friendly and greet you respectfully. Also, the hair salon has a good atmosphere and played good music :) I can’t wait to return!!

I have wanted to get a pixie cut for years and did extensive research to find a place that was not only welcoming to new clients but also knowledgeable and found that in Perfect 10 Salon. From the moment I walked in I was welcomed and did not have to wait to be seated! Kanessa took her time to not only get to know me but also learn about my hair journey. Every step of the way she was letting me know what she was doing and how it contributed to the health of my hair. Once it came time to style she educated me on how to maintain my pixie myself! She was able to achieve the look I was going for from one photo which in retrospect didn’t even show much of the style. The cut is impeccable and exactly what I asked for. I had a two strand twist done by Brysian. She was personable and very professional. I was truly satisfied with her work. The shops atmosphere was welcoming and everyone made you feel comfortable. I will definitely be going back!
