Customer Reviews
This place is absolutely terrible! The owner is incredibly controlling of the employees and dictates how they should interact with customers. I had a terrible experience on a Sunday when I arrived, only to find that the hairstylist who usually does great work wasn’t there. I asked if she would be available by 12 pm, and she assured me she would. However, he insisted on washing my hair, which I reluctantly agreed to. Then, he insisted on putting rollers in my hair, which I refused. He started explaining how he has a cosmetology license, so I let him do it, which was a terrible mistake on my part. To make matters worse, he tried to blow out my hair, and I had to get up and leave. It’s clear that hes only interested in making money and doesn’t care about my hair or the customer experience.
I asked for a blowout- They added relaxer to the product without my consent, and I didn’t know until my first wash. My hair texture is completely different now. Prior to this, my hair was not damaged, as I had been growing it out and avoiding heat. I understand that blowouts require a lot of heat, but there’s a difference between a different hair texture and heat damage- I have a new texture, that would only occur from a chemical treatment. I had also ask for a small trim and left with a bob, my hair was at the bottom of my shoulder blades. Do not go here.
I came here in March and they put a permanent chemical straightener in my natural hair without my consent. AVOID THIS PLACE! I have natural 4A hair and needed a blow out and a trim. The husband was very nice but the wife was annoyed by my hair. I got a deep conditioner and had to tell the wash girl how to brush it through without tangling my hair. Little did I know, there was a chemical in that conditioner. In the chair, the wife/owner of the salon was annoyed with the volume and texture of my hair and kept angrily tugging at it. Again, I kept having to tell her how to work through my hair. The end result was ok. The next week I washed my hair myself and it did not revert to its natural state. This was my first blow out in 2 years. So it was not heat damage. I went to another stylist wh
Went in to get my hair cut to my shoulders, I had waist length hair. Lady messed up my hair! it is uneven and up to the NAPE of my neck. Terrible. She lied about how short it was in the back also. THE WORST SERVICE EVER. also the other people who posted reviews are the part owner and some of the stylists themselves.
